We're excited to announce that New Jersey Destination Imagination has a new Facebook page! Please check it out, and be sure to "like" it so that you can receive the latest news from Destination Imagination.
We
want this to be a place we all can share news and information about our
DI experiences - it's for team managers, students, parents...everyone
who loves DI. We will be posting information and interesting
links for all of New Jersey's teams. Take a look, be sure to
"like" it, and then spread the word among your team parents and
participants!
2012 NJDI Appraiser Training
Appraiser training for the tournament will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at the Cedar Hill Elementary School from 9:30AM until 12:30PM. We are very pleased to have this new location for our training sessions, this year. Note that in order to make the best use of everyone's time, we are asking all appraisers to review the on-line training for Appraisers and Rules of the Road at DI University prior to the training date. This will allow us to have one, shorter general session for all appraisers.
It is also important for all appraisers to register using the Appraiser Registration System prior to the training date. This will allow us to organize everyone into teams for each challenge.
2012 NJDI State Tournament
The 2012 Affiliate Finals Tournament held on Saturday, March 31st at Robbinsville High School. We are looking forward to another year at this fine facility. See the Tournament Information Page for important information related to the tournament.
Team Managers should use the Team Registration System to register teams for the tournament. Registrations should be started as soon as possible, with as little information as the team's membership number and the Team Manager's contact information. Visit the Start a Team Checklist to see how to get started!
Team and Appraiser registrations can then be completed any time before the registration deadline, which is February 17th, 2012.
2012 NJDI Creativity Scholarships
NJDI is again pleased to offer our High School Juniors and Seniors and opportunity to show us their creativity. We will again offer up to two $1000 NJDI Creativity Scholarships. See the details and forms required to enter.
Tell Us Your Story Video Contest
DI is launcing their video contest early this year and it is open to ALL Destination Imagination team members, Team Managers and volunteers. The winning team member or Team Manager will receive free passes to Global Finals 2012 for their whole team (see attached flyer for details).2012 Pin/T-Shirt Contest

DI team members may download and print these business cards to remind adults that their solutions need to be theirs alone. Two styles are provided here, DI Business Card or IDODI Business Card, or you can make up your own.
