PIN & T-SHIRT PICK-UP - I bet you need one more thing to do before Globals. The meeting to pick-up your pins and t-shirt orders and dragon hats is Wednesday, May the 14th between 7-9 pm at the Bernardsville Middle School room 106.

PIN TRADING AT GLOBAL FINALS - See Dr. Frank's Tips for DI Pin Trading. Pin trading is a wonderful way for kids of all ages to meet other participants at DI Global Finals. Dr. Frank has also put together a Guide to Pin Trading. He and his team of volunteers promote Fair Pin Trading, a way to make sure that everyone gets the most from this activity. See more information, and a video introduction on the DI Global Finals web page.

IMPROV FIESTA - At the Improv Fiesta, there's an Improv Games Stage and a UL Performance Stage. At the Improv Stages, participants are randomly picked from the audience. The teams hosting the Improv Stage plan out Improv games and activities. You don't sign up in advance to be part of an improv game, you just might be picked out of the audience! The Performance Stage is run by all the University Level teams. At that stage, teams sign up in advance to present a pre-rehearsed performance.Your performance could be a skit, song, dance, dramatic scene, etc. You can sign up in advance for this, but there are limited openings, so please don't be sad if you are not selected- just try to sign up as soon as possible. We have room for 8 high school teams, 8 middle school teams, and 7 elementary school teams only. The Online Registration form is now OPEN for this event at 2008 IMPROV FIESTA SIGN UP FORM Everyone that performs at the Performance Stage will get an Event pin. The kids chosen to play the games at the Improv Stage also get the Event pin, as do any volunteers who work at it.

The Team Manager's and Official's Competition IS BACK! This will also take place that night at the Presidential Courtyard. You can download the challenge and the Registration Form at http://www.idodi.org/disc/GF2008/tmo2008.htm. For those that do not want to compete but love being in the middle of all the action....there's room for lots of volunteering that night. If anyone wants to volunteer for the Improv Fiesta, they can contact Cathy Adams (cathyladams@hotmail.com), Diana Dignan (radignan@ameritech.net) or myself, Chris Groberg (University@dihq.org). For the Improv Fiesta, they can contact Diana Dignan who is the Event Leader.
